By using our website and services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. Damage-related liabilities are governed by rental partner agreements, insurance selections, and applicable laws.

1. General Damage Responsibility

Renters are responsible for the condition of the rental vehicle from the time of pickup until it is returned. Any damage, loss, or theft occurring during the rental period may result in charges, subject to the rental partner’s terms and applicable insurance coverage.

2. Pre-Existing Damage

Customers must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at pickup and report any pre-existing damage immediately to the rental provider. Failure to document existing damage may result in the renter being held responsible for such damage upon return.

3. Types of Damage Covered

Damage may include, but is not limited to, dents, scratches, broken mirrors, cracked glass, tire damage, interior damage, mechanical issues caused by misuse, or exterior damage resulting from accidents or negligence.

4. Accidents & Collisions

In the event of an accident or collision, the renter must immediately notify local authorities, the rental provider, and follow the instructions outlined in the rental agreement. Failure to report an incident may void insurance coverage.

5. Insurance Coverage

Damage protection options vary by rental partner and location. LowCabRentals does not provide insurance directly and is not responsible for coverage decisions, deductibles, or claim approvals. Renters should carefully review insurance terms before accepting coverage.

6. Uncovered or Excluded Damage

Certain damages may not be covered by insurance, including damage caused by reckless driving, driving under the influence, off-road use, unauthorized drivers, or violation of rental terms. Such damages may result in full liability for the renter.

7. Theft & Total Loss

In cases of vehicle theft or total loss, renters may be responsible for the vehicle’s value, loss of use, administrative fees, and related costs, subject to insurance coverage and rental partner policies.

8. Interior Damage & Cleanliness

Renters are responsible for maintaining the interior condition of the vehicle. Excessive dirt, stains, odors, smoking violations, or pet damage may result in cleaning or repair charges assessed by the rental provider.

9. Tire, Wheel & Undercarriage Damage

Damage to tires, wheels, rims, or the undercarriage is often excluded from standard insurance coverage. Renters may be charged for repair or replacement costs depending on the rental partner’s policy.

10. Assessment of Damage

Damage assessments are conducted by the rental partner after vehicle return. Charges are based on repair estimates, parts, labor, loss of use, and administrative fees. LowCabRentals does not control assessment outcomes.

11. Payment for Damage Charges

Damage-related charges may be applied to the payment method on file after the rental period ends. Renters authorize such charges by agreeing to the rental terms at booking and pickup.

12. Disputes & Claims

Any disputes related to damage charges must be raised directly with the rental provider. LowCabRentals may assist with communication but is not responsible for claim decisions or resolutions.

13. Fraud & Misrepresentation

LowCabRentals reserves the right to deny assistance or support in cases involving suspected fraud, false claims, or misrepresentation of damage incidents.

14. Legal Compliance

Damage claims and charges are handled in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

15. Updates to Damage Policy

LowCabRentals reserves the right to update or modify this Damage Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately upon publication.
